With the feeling recruitment had lost its way and can be done better with more genuine care and attention, TechNichols Resourcing was established and started in February 2016 from Bracknell, Berkshire and offers recruitment solutions nationwide.
Our team are equipped with the qualifications and experience necessary to find the ideal candidate for any role, whether it’s for a small business or a large blue-chip corporation. We understand the unique needs of different organisations and tailor our approach to meet those specific requirements.

I began my recruitment career in 2007, specifically focusing on engineering and the manufacturing industries, managing the full life cycle of the recruitment process from beginning to end. I started TechNichols Resourcing in February 2016 as I could see the recruitment industry had become obsessed with sales and numbers and not on the quality-of-service clients and candidates were receiving. I knew I could deliver a bespoke recruitment service that focused on the clients & candidate’s needs & wants, not on where I received the biggest or fastest fees. I do wear my heart on my sleeve and have a built-in drive to provide the very best advice, guidance & solutions to make the recruitment process a smooth and enjoyable process for everyone. I knew I could bring this quality to my industry and with the superb Google reviews we continually receive, they confirm that we have and continue to deliver, the vision I started this excellent business with. Interesting facts about me; I was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where I lived for over 10 years. I hold dual nationality, British and Australian. I am a workaholic – accordingly to family, friends and all those who know me!
Jane Burton
Senior Recruitment Consultant
With over 28 years of experience in recruitment, I have had the privilege of working across both internal and agency recruitment settings, building a deep understanding of the industry and its evolving demands. My journey began in 1995 at House of Fraser, where I served as an Internal Recruitment Adviser. It was there that I honed my skills in sourcing and selecting top talent to meet the company’s staffing needs. This foundational experience set the stage for a career focused on delivering high-quality recruitment solutions. Over the years, I have successfully recruited for a wide range of roles across office administration, sales, engineering, and technical departments. I pride myself on my ability to match the right candidate to the right role, always taking the time to understand the unique requirements of each position and the specific needs of the employer. My career has allowed me to work with a diverse range of industries, further broadening my expertise and ability to navigate complex recruitment challenges. Fun thing to know about me, I once audition for Blind date, but by the time they wanted to put me on a show I was in a relationship so had to pull out.
Alec White
Associate Recruitment Director
As with most people, I fell into recruitment in March 1993 as a trainee Recruitment Consultant and loved it! Fast forward 30+ years and I’m now the Associate Recruitment Director at TechNichols Resourcing where I’m still a hands-on recruiter, working with & through my network to find the best talent available for my clients. I’ve spent my career primarily recruiting hands-on Engineers, Team Leads and Managers across the expanse of the Engineering & IT markets, covering a wide & wonderful array of roles and disciplines, so there’s never a dull day! I work with clients from many different industries and types of companies – from small growing businesses, right the way through to giant multi-national companies and everything in between. As a conduit bringing an employer and candidate together, I still enjoy building relationships with clients, qualifying new roles, shortlisting candidates, co-ordinating interviews and closing offers. Interesting facts: With the exception of Spiders, I love all animals and have a dog, cat, pygmy goats and beehives – I’m also part of the 2% group of UK residents who have an extra vertebrae in their back, so why aren’t I taller?
